Allied members who meet the criteria of our Direct Marketing Committee will benefit from the Michigan Restaurant Association’s circulation of product information to our members.

ServSafe 6 Hour Class & Exam
Monthly Opportunities
Minimum Sponsor Fee of $1,000 is Required Per Class Date
The Michigan Restaurant Association would like to partner with you in offering a 6-hour ServSafe Food Safety Certification class and exam for hospitality industry owners, managers and person-in-charge employees.
Class Content:
Providing Safe Food – Introduction to Food Safety Video – The Microworld – Contamination, Food Allergies and Foodborne Illness – The Safe Foodhandler – Personal Hygiene – Purchasing and Receiving Safe Food – Keeping Food Safe During Storage – Protecting Food in Preparation – Preparation, Cooking and Service – Protecting Food in Service – Principles of a HACCP System – Sanitary Facility and Pest Management – Sanitation Regulation.
Student Receives:
Six hours of training, ServSafe Essentials book, and ServSafe Exam.
Annual Opportunities:
Buyers' Guide ($5,000)
The Michigan Restaurant Association publishes a Buyers' Guide which showcases our Allied and Active Restaurant members. This detailed Guide is a valuable tool to the industry and widely used as a resource throughout the year. This information is also available on our website.
Advertising opportunities: Color Ad: $650 for a 1/2 page ad, $850 for a full page.
Black/White Ad: $450 for a 1/2 page ad, $650 for a full page.
There is a additional $50 cost for premium placement.
Legislative Directory ($2,500)
The Public Affairs Department will produce a Legislative Directory on an annual basis. The sponsor of this guide will be instrumental in keeping the members up-to-date on who our elected officials are and how they may be reached.
Magazine Issue Sponsor
Sponsor an issue of the Michigan Restaurateur and your logo will appear on the cover of the magazine, the table of contents, and you can craft an article (the MRA reserves the right to approve and edit all text) that follows the editorial theme for that issue.
