| NEWSLETTER - MRA Conducts Summer Board Meeting |
The Board of Directors for the Michigan Restaurant Association in July gathered in Northern Michigan to discuss the inner workings of the association, including the past year's accomplishments and budgetary status, as well as plan for the future.
About 30 members attended the board meeting, which included a team building session that helped members learn more about themselves, their business operations, as well as the entire MRA organization.
"This was an opportunity for the board to come together and conduct the business operations of the association, as well as a chance for members to exchange information and ideas about some of the challenges our association and industry have faced this past year," President Craig Heath, said.
In August, 15 board members reconvened at a special two-day strategic planning session in southeast Michigan to discuss and outline a plan of action for the association in the coming years.
President Heath said the workshop meetings enabled board members to actively engage in a healthy brainstorming and future planning session for the association. |
