Craig Heath of Howell approved as Director-Nominee to Nat’l Restaurant Association Board of Directors
LANSING, Mich. – The Michigan Restaurant Association announced that Craig Heath of Howell was unanimously approved by the National Restaurant Association (NRA) Board of Directors as a Director-nominee representing restaurants in Michigan and anticipated for formal election by the NRA membership in May.
“This is truly an honor,” said Heath. “I am excited and looking forward to continuing my service on behalf of Michigan’s hospitality industry.”
Heath is the owner and operator of the Brighton Bar and Grill in Brighton and two Red Cedar Grill restaurants in Williamston and Lansing. He served previously on the MRA Board of Directors. His time there included one year as the Chairman of the Board.
“Operating a successful restaurant in Michigan is not easy,” said Rob Gifford, president and CEO of the Michigan Restaurant Association. “Craig Heath not only knows what it takes to be successful, he is a proven leader who will continue to serve his fellow Michigan restaurateurs on a nationwide level.”
Voting directors of the National Restaurant Association are generally elected to serve a three-year, voluntary term and may be subject to re-election.
