National Restaurant Association Webinar
The National Restaurant Association is pleased to bring you the second installment in its free members-only webinar series to help keep you up-to-date on issues facing the restaurant industry. These one-hour educational sessions will address ways to thrive in challenging economic and ever-changing times. You can view the webinars in real time or on-demand from your computer through the NRA members-only section of Restaurant.org.
The next webinar in our series is scheduled for Wednesday, March 11 at 2 p.m. EST, called Leveraging the Price Point: Any Value to Value Pricing?
This webinar will focus on informing members on a noteworthy decline in suppertime traffic within the restaurant industry over the past several years. Panelists Gary Stibel, Founder and CEO of the New England Consulting Group and Dave Jenkins, President, Foodservice of The NPD Group will overview this trend, break down where the bulk of traffic falls by price point and provide their tailored perspective, based on current economic concerns.
During this 60-minute, interactive session, you will find out which segment of the industry was able to avoid any further decline by increasing their share of ‘deal’-driven traffic, learn of a rating scale that will help restaurant operators strategize around this trend and hear winning price promotion strategies that have effectively grown traffic while maintaining value in the past.
