MRA Announces Candidate Endorsements for August Primary
Tuesday, August 3, is the date for the Michigan primary election. The Michigan Restaurant Association has issued endorsements to the following candidates for the state House of Representatives, state Senate, and U.S. House of Representatives:

These candidates were endorsed because each of them amply demonstrated their determination to improve the business climate in Michigan. Their commitment to MRA’s overall agenda of protecting the free market, preventing harmful regulations and allowing Michigan’s restaurants to flourish was evident, and made clear that they will be strong pro-business legislators.
Please note that the MRA has not yet issued endorsements to incumbent officeholders seeking re-election to their office who do not have primary opponents. Those endorsements will be issued following the August primary election.
