MRA Member Publication Honored For Being The Best Membership Magazine in Michigan
2nd Year in a Row for Award for the MRA
LANSING, Mich. – It’s official! For the second year in a row, the magazine of the Michigan Restaurant Association (MRA) has been chosen as the best association membership magazine in the state of Michigan!
The Michigan Society of Association Executives (MSAE) held its 9th Annual Diamond Awards Banquet recently at The Townsend Hotel in Birmingham. Nearly 200 members and guests attended the event, designed to recognize excellence and innovation in associations.
At the event, the MRA membership magazine, Michigan Restaurateur, won the Diamond Award for best magazine publishing for an association with a budget greater than $1 million.
“The Michigan Restaurant Association works very hard to provide our members with the best, high-quality publications and information,” said Rob Gifford, president and chief executive officer of the MRA. “We are thrilled that, for two years in a row, our magazine has been recognized as being the best in the state.”
MSAE has a membership of more than 900 association professionals and suppliers involved in the management of 400 international, national, state, regional and local associations. It provides executives with the opportunity to exchange ideas, opinions, and experiences through discussion, study, and networking.
