Restaurateurs: Don’t Miss the Michigan Restaurant Show! Oct. 18-19 show to feature seminars on menus, wine, business practices and more from trusted industry experts
LANSING, MI – There are plenty of reasons for restaurant owners, managers and professionals to attend the upcoming 2005 Michigan Restaurant Show. This year’s show will feature outstanding seminars from the experts of the industry.
The 2005 Michigan Restaurant Show, which is open only to restaurant owners, managers, chefs and personnel and not to the public, will be held on October 18 and 19 at the new Rock Financial Showplace in Novi. The Rock Financial Showplace is located on Grand River Avenue just east of Beck Road and south of Interstate 96 in Novi. “
In addition to featuring everything a restaurateur needs to buy for the business, the Michigan Restaurant Show also features seminars on everything they need to know to operate their business – all under one roof!” said Rob Gifford, executive director of the Michigan Restaurant Association. “Our info-packed seminars cover virtually everything, from the industry’s best business practices and leadership in multi-unit operations to perfecting entrée salads and increasing flavor on the menu.”
Restaurant operators and personnel who attend the 2005 Michigan Restaurant Show will be able to learn from some of the industry’s top experts. Seminars include: Jim Sullivan, consultant to some of the very best foodservice operators in the country, offering his advice on multi-unit leadership and building market share in an increasingly competitive environment; Michael Green, wine expert and consultant to Gourmet Magazine, offering up innovative tips and offers examples of how to give your wine program the ultimate makeover; and Jim Laube, renowned restaurant business expert, counsels operators on the best business practices of independent restaurants.
But that’s not all. Other seminar and demonstration topics include authentic flavoring, making big sales on entrée salads, mastering the take-out market, spotting a phony ID, squeezing every penny on food costs, getting a mastery of catering, and turning a good restaurant into a great business.
In addition to these first-class seminars, there are hundreds of exhibits with new products and ideas for the savvy business operator. “If you’re a restaurant operator, you can’t afford not to attend the Michigan Restaurant Show,” said Gifford. “At one show, you can get the latest and greatest products and information, on every aspect of your business, from some of the industry’s most trusted experts. We look forward to greeting you at the Show!”
