Michigan Restaurant Association Elects Victor Ansara of Farmington Hills to Board of Directors

The Michigan Restaurant Association (MRA) announced the election of a new member to its Board of Directors:  Victor Ansara of Farmington Hills, President of Ansara Restaurant Group.  The Ansara Restaurant Group owns and operates 16 Red Robin Restaurants and five Big Boy restaurants.  

“Victor Ansara grew up in the food and beverage service industry,” said MRA Executive Director Rob Gifford.  “We are thrilled that this distinguished Michigan restaurateur is joining the Board of Directors.”  Gifford explained that the MRA Board of Directors is committed to assisting, representing, promoting and educating the foodservice industry.  

Victor grew up in the restaurant business and took over and grew the original family business into what it is today.  An attorney, he has practiced real estate and corporate law.  He has also served as president of the association for Red Robin franchisees.  

Victor is married to his wife of 22 years, Dana.  Together they have four sons, three of which are in college and the fourth who is in high school.
