Restaurants Need Games |
I read with interest The Detroit News' editorial, "Gambling Explosion Will Hurt Michigan in the Long Run," Oct. 27. The new games from the Michigan Lottery offer restaurants and bars many of the same opportunities that Michigan retailers have had since the lottery was created.
There will be far fewer licensed establishments with these games than there will be establishments without them. Diners will still have plenty of choices and varieties to choose from if they wish to dine in a restaurant or tavern without them. But if struggling Michigan restaruants and bars can now deep themselves afloat with the help of club games, we feel this is good for our industry and for Michigan.
