2008 Michigan Restaurant Show Features Renowned Chefs and Latest Trends
LANSING, MI – Restaurant owners, chefs, and cooks will be able to get an abundance of new ideas from high profile local chefs and information on new trends for success in the Trends Theater at the 2008 Michigan Restaurant Show.
The 2008 Michigan Restaurant Show will be held on October 14 and 15 at the Rock Financial Showplace in Novi. The Rock Financial Showplace is located on Grand River Avenue just east of Beck Road and south of Interstate 96. The Show is for industry professionals only.
The Trends Theater, presented by Gordon Food Service, will give attendees an opportunity to get tips and ideas from some of the very best chefs in Michigan as well as information on some of the latest trends for the industry.
Chef Chris Johnson from Beverly Hills Grill in Beverly Hills will demonstrate how to develop sure-fire crowd-pleasing vegetarian dishes. Chef Marc Djozlija of Wolfgang Puck at MGM Grand in Detroit will show attendees ways to spice up tuna dishes. And Chef Nick Seccia of The Henry Ford in Dearborn will present ways he utilizes the bounty of local farmers for his Fall menu.
In addition, attendees will get first-hand suggestions on important restaurant management issues.
