This inspired the Michigan Restaurant Association, the National Restaurant Association and the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation to develop the “Restaurant Neighbor Award,” a program to honor the people in our industry who are committed to their communities, and shine the spotlight on the philanthropic side of the restaurant industry. As we seek to call attention to the tremendous contributions restaurateurs make to their communities, we encourage you to submit a project for the Michigan Restaurant Neighbor Award.
