Thousands of restaurant owners, managers, and industry professionals flocked to Novi for the 2001 Michigan Restaurant & Lodging Show. Among the hundreds of exhibits, attendees were treated to entertaining demonstrations by well known chefs Rick Bayless, Harlan "Pete" Peterson, and Stuart Biroza. Coach Tom Izzo gave an inspiring keynote address, and Showtenders gave tips on bartending flare. Exit surveys indicated that attendees came away from the Show with new ideas, great show floor deals, and satisfaction that their time was well spent at the 2001 Show.
