Local Attorney Named to Michigan Restaurant Association

LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan Restaurant Association (MRA) has named Bloomfield Hills attorney John B. Carlin, Jr. to its statewide Board of Directors.

"I am honored to be elected to the Michigan Restaurant Association Board of Directors," Carlin said. "I look forward to sharing my knowledge and experience in judicial and hospitality business affairs with my colleagues."

Carlin is licensed to practice law in both Michigan and Florida and is an accomplished author and lecturer. He holds memberships in the American and Oakland County Bar Associations, the American Arbitration Association, the National Conference of State Liquor Administrators, the Academy of Hospitality Industry Attorneys and the Hospitality Resource Group.

"The MRA is proud to welcome John Carlin to our board," said Rob Gifford, the association?s executive director. "His broad experience in legal and business affairs impacting the hospitality industry will be of immeasurable benefit to the association and its members."
