INDIANAPOLIS (March 12, 2001) - RFC Franchising, Inc., parent company to Ritter's Frozen Custard, announced today the opening of 33 additional Ritter's Frozen Custard shoppes throughout Indiana, Michigan and Florida.
Agreements will be handled by franchise gurus, Dennis Burris, Peter Loomis and Craig Fenneman.
Dennis Burris, former owner of the Vogue Nightclub in Indianapolis and the Bluebird in Bloomington, IN, has signed a 10-store agreement for Ritter's Frozen Custards across Broward County in Florida. Peter Loomis has signed an area representative agreement; he will open 13 Ritter's Shoppes in Northern Indiana and Michigan. Craig Fenneman, owner of more than 70 Taco Bells and 20 Kentucky Fried Chicken's, has signed a 10-store agreement for Southern Indiana.
"I'm very pleased with the partnerships we have created with these three gentlemen," said Saul Lemke, C.E.O. of RFC Franchising, Inc. "These are all viable markets and we are excited to see them grow. Our goal is to expand Ritter's shoppes throughout the nation, while maintaining our high standards of quality."
RFC Franchising has been working on the franchise agreements with Burris, Loomis and Fenneman for several months. The new shoppes are expected to open throughout this year and 2002.
RFC has grown to 35 shoppes in Arizona, Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and Texas.
