Italian eatery opens near Dundee

DUNDEE - Samuel Mancino's Italian Eatery, a restaurant featuring grinders, gourmet pizza and three kinds of wings, has opened in Suite 4 at 119 Waterstradt-Commerce Dr. in the Dundee Marketplace.

Mary Hoevemeyer, a Dundee native and Dundee High School graduate, owns the franchise, which features casual dining or carry-out.

Mrs. Hoevemeyer, a former waitress who managed Milan Screw Products for about 10 years, said the business employs 24 and has seating capacity for 45 diners.

Hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and noon to 7 p.m. Sunday. The telephone number is 529-3557.

Mrs. Hoevemeyer and her husband, Greg, have four children and live in the Milan area.
