Schwartz placed on MSU School of Hospitality Business Wall of Fame
FARMINGTON HILLS - Harper Associates President Ben Schwartz was recently honored by having his name placed on the Michigan State University School of Hospitality Business Alumni Association’s Wall of Fame.
The distinct award is given to graduates of MSU who have made professional and educational contributions to their company, associated organizations, the hospitality industry and The School of Hospitality Business at MSU.
Harper Associates has a nationwide reputation for excellence in placing executives, managers and culinary professionals in the hotel, restaurant, resort, country club and food service industries. Schwartz helped found the hospitality division of the business and was Harper Associates’ first hospitality “head-hunter.”
Schwartz graduated from MSU in 1972 with honors.
Schwartz has such a passion for his career that he says it doesn’t seem like work. The most rewarding aspects of his efforts are seeing people build their careers, and companies build winning teams. “It is the ultimate compliment to receive referrals from candidates and clients as a result of an excellent relationship,” he says.
