Krazy Jim’s Blimpyburger reopens

Krazy Jim’s Blimpyburger is open once again. A grill fire Jan. 15 closed the fun little place at South Division and Packard Streets in Ann Arbor, and it took longer than expected to replace the grill. Tight dimensions mandated a custom job, says owner Rich Magner.

He did much of the cleanup and repair himself but says he had a tough four months, as no kitchen meant no income A former U-M art student, Magner’s the guy who, during winter months, carves snow bears lounging, looking in the windows, and otherwise conducting bear business outside the shop long known for its burgers.
