Bagel store wins popularity contest

TROY - Einstein Bros Bagels, with 20 stores in the Detroit area, has received top category scores and won the Platinum Award in Restaurants and Institution's magazine coveted "Choice in Chains" survey for the Bread/Bakery division.
The nationwide survey, in which questionnaires were mailed to 4,000 households based on the U.S. Census data and such factors as age and income, asked customers to rate restaurant chains for their food quality, menu variety, value, service, atmosphere, cleanliness and convenience.
Einstein Bros Bagels ranked particularly high in the category of food quality and earned remarkable ratings in menu variety, service and atmosphere.
Einstein Bros and Noah's stores are unique bagel cafes and bakeries featuring fresh-baked bagels, cream cheese spreads, coffee drinks, sandwiches and salads. Currently there are 458 ENBC retail bagel stores in 29 states and the District of Columbia of which 371 stores operate under the Einstein Bros Bagels brand name and 87 stores operate under the Noah's New York Bagels brand name.
