MRA Fights for Macomb County
Since learning of the decision by Macomb County to close all restaurants operating under the Detroit water system, the Michigan Restaurant Association has taken the following actions:

Confirmed with the Michigan Department of Agriculture that state law does not require the closure of all restaurants, and that the decision to do so is being made at the discretion of Macomb County;

Contacted the Macomb County Health Department to ask that the restaurant closure decision be reversed;

Contacted all Macomb County members of the Michigan Legislature and asked them to help re-open Macomb County restaurants;

Issued press statement calling for a reversal of the Macomb County decision, and conducted various interviews with the media, including:
