Food Service Management Certification Courses The course includes the following principles: - causes and prevention of food borne illness
- bacteriology
- safe food handling techniques
- safe food storage
- cleaning and sanitizing procedures
- pest control
- employees' personal hygiene
- employee education and motivation
- Michigan's Food Service Law
- management's rights and responsibilities
- and the inspection report/process
This program satisfies the food service management certification requirement for the Oakland County Health Division (OCHD) Sanitary Code, Article IV, as well as other certification requirements throughout the State of Michigan (Person In Charge). Who May Attend? Restaurant operators, food service managers, or anyone interested in food service sanitation is welcome. Participants must live, work or have corporate offices in Oakland County. Priority will be given to those who work or live in Oakland County. Dates June 17, 19, 21, 24 & 26 Attendees must attend all required sessions.
